Hi all - glad to find the forum. Like so many here I have a pedal car from when I was a kid and have always wanted to restore it. After doing some sleuthing, I am fairly confident I have a 1929 Steelcase Cadillac. I guess I am looking for best practices of start to finish on restoring this great car. There are nuts and bolts I can undo but do I drill through the rivets and ultimately replace them, use the chrome rivet style nuts and bolts that I saw on dspedalcars.com or leave it together to strip and paint?!? I have a ton of questions and would like to do as much as possible myself.
Any directions, pointers, mistakes I can learn from would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks, Jim

More searching for original paint scheme, etc. Maybe 1920 Steelcraft Cadillac Roadster. I will post a picture so others can help me.
Also, is the PEDAL CAR RESTORATION & PRICE GUIDE worth buying to help me? Wondering if anyone had one and could give an opinion. Thanks.

One of the other members said that is a great book, I still haven't come across that one for a decent price but have been looking for it. That would be a good car to restore for sure do you have any pics of it?

As long as you don't use it for Pricing as that book was published by Krause Publications, in 1996 , The prices listed are really not relevant to today's Market. Amazon.com has them for $ 28+ dollars.

Pretty sure you mean Steelcraft, not Steelcase. Really nice old car. Don't ever sell it!
