Whats the best paint solvent?

I recently got my first pedal car (Murray 1950s Firetruck) to restore with my son, and i got some paint remover called Rustoleum Aircraft Remover. I have used it and it does seem to get some paint off but not all of it.

Does anyone has any advice for a either a better paint remover? or maybe a solvent of some kind which could remove the rest of the paint easily and completely? There dont seem to be many layers, just the red paint.

(ps- i dont know how to use any power tools to sand etc. doing all sanding by hand)
